I have been working all weekend on the new album and am really delighted with the progress. Yesterday’s session was all in Logic Pro on the new MacBook which is a very pleasant experience. Although I still prefer Cubase for its audio editing power and speed, the Logic native effects are so nice that you don’t really need to use anything else. It’s been a good 5 years since I gave up using Logic on the PC and the product has come a long way. I look forward to using it more in future… though I suspect I’ll be keeping the Cubase PC on standby duties for a while to come: it’s fast and (for Windows) quite stable.
